The little happiness that reaches me seems to arrive from your side. When my thirst becomes unbearable, I turn toward your memories, hoping that your tenderness will become water for my restless soul. I am a traveler among ruins, walking through the remains of dreams I once called mine. Life has taken so much from me that sometimes I feel defeated, as if every door has closed before I could reach it. Yet when I remember you, something inside me refuses to die.
