We lost many things— perhaps dreams, perhaps time, perhaps people who once mattered, perhaps the versions of ourselves we could never become again. Yet I do not mourn every loss. For somewhere between the tears and the laughter, between departure and arrival, between hope and uncertainty, I found you.
