Title: When Even the Wind Weeps Poem My anklets whisper in the rain tonight, Soft silver bells trembling in the storm. The sky has opened its wounded heart, And every cloud has begun to mourn. The winds wander through empty streets, Carrying echoes of forgotten cries. Even the silent trees are listening, As sorrow drifts across the skies. My feet walk slowly through wet memories, Each step a story the night has kept. The rain falls like scattered pearls, As if the heavens themselves have wept. Yet within my soul a desert remains, Dry as a land untouched by streams. The world may drown in endless rain, But my heart still thirsts for lost dreams. O wandering wind, tell me why— Why does the storm cry louder than me? Why do the skies shed endless tears, While my pain flows silently? Perhaps sorrow is a quiet river, Hidden beneath the sands of time. Perhaps the loudest grief of all Is the one that never finds rhyme. So let the anklets sing with rain, Let the restless winds roam ...
