Title: Left in Dust, Guided by Light Poem You washed your hands of yesterday, And wore a crown of shining pride, While I remained in torn-out skies, With silent storms I kept inside. You rose where mirrors praised your face, I stayed where shadows knew my name, You called it growth, you called it grace, But leaving hearts is not the same. You loved the world that bowed to gold, Its fleeting smiles, its borrowed art, But I was fed by whispers old, The sacred pulse within the heart. Mock not the soul that walks alone, Nor judge the tears that heaven sees, For those abandoned are still known, By winds, by stars, by ancient trees. You followed roads of loud applause, I followed signs no eye could chart, And though you stood with worldly cause, I walked with God inside my heart.
