Did my tears fall short of what You demand, Or did I fail to follow Your unseen hand? You once lived in my breath, my soul’s own light, A golden memory shining through the night. But now You stand distant, silent, unknown, Leaving my fragile heart to wander alone. Do You see me as false, a shadow of lies? Or have I lost truth in Your divine eyes? I stood with faith when storms tore me apart, Yet silence now echoes deep in my heart. Was it a promise that faded with time? Or a sacred oath lost in my silent crime? Tell me, my God, where did I go wrong— Was my devotion weak, or my belief not strong? Still I wait, broken yet holding on, Through endless nights that stretch into dawn.
