I am a human first—

My prayer is breath,

If you must know my religion,

look at how I treat the weak,

পরিচয়ের ঊর্ধ্বে মানুষ

আমাকে জিজ্ঞেস কোরো না

पहचान से ऊपर इंसान

मुझसे मत पूछो मेरी पहचान,

मैं हिंदू हूँ या ईसाई।

मैं पहले एक इंसान हूँ—

मेरे भीतर बसती है

बुद्ध की शांति,

मसीह की क्षमा,

और एक मुसलमान आत्मा की इबादत।
