Food Adulteration Crackdown Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a state-wide “Diwali Special Campaign” from October 8 to 17 to tackle food adulteration. Led by FSDA Commissioner Roshan Jacob, over 6,000 inspections and 2,740 raids were conducted. Results: 3,548 quintals of adulterated materials worth ₹4.97 crore were seized. 1,871 quintals worth ₹2.89 crore were destroyed. Total: ₹8 crore in seized and destroyed goods.
