Why does my chest still tremble so? I do not know, I truly don’t know. I call your name from the broken shore, Words dissolve, they ache even more. You stand across, where silence flows, A distant bank no answer shows. Is love a river without a guide, Or am I drowning in my pride? If you are the shore I’ll never reach, Why does my soul still try to speak?
