Beneath the Rain of Unspoken Sorrows Poem The night had no language left to speak, Only the sound of old wooden shadows creaking, As though every fragile bed of comfort Was being lifted away by unseen hands. The rain came slowly at first, Like memories knocking on abandoned windows, Then suddenly the heavens opened, And every road drowned in silver grief. You stood there quietly, Holding the edge of your fading veil, Wondering why storms always arrive When hearts are already trembling. The winds no longer asked permission, They tore through dreams like restless birds, And every promise once wrapped in warmth Began to shiver beneath the cold sky.
