پردے کے نیچے کی روشنی

There must be a sparkle beneath your veil,

تیرے پردے کے نیچے کوئی چمک ضرور ہوگی،

کچھ نہ کچھ وہاں چھپا ہوا ضرور ہوگا۔

اور جب وہ راز مل جائے گا ایک دن،

ہر اندھیرا خود ہی ختم ہو جائے گا تب۔

A silent flame in shadows deep,

Where broken hopes still softly sleep.

Yet in that hush, a light remains,

Unbroken by the night’s long chains.

خاموش اندھیروں میں ایک روشنی پلتی ہے،

جہاں ٹوٹی امیدیں بھی سانس لیتی ہیں۔

پھر بھی وہاں ایک نور باقی رہتا ہے،

جو رات کی زنجیروں سے کبھی نہیں ڈرتا ہے۔
