The dream is old like buried gold,
الحلم قديم مثل ذهبٍ مدفون،
It glows within though nights are cold,
يتوهّج في الداخل رغم برودة الليالي،
It comes again, a gentle flame,
يعود مرةً أخرى كنارٍ هادئة،
Calling softly my hidden name.
يناديني بلطفٍ باسمي الخفي.
Through shattered roads and silent cries,
عبر طرقٍ محطّمة وصرخاتٍ صامتة،
It lives where broken courage lies.
يعيش حيث تختبئ الشجاعة المكسورة.
Yet reality shifts like restless sea,
لكن الواقع يتقلّب كبحرٍ مضطرب،
No promise there for you or me.
لا وعد فيه لك أو لي.
Still dreams return, they always stay,
ومع ذلك تعود الأحلام وتبقى،
Like dawn that follows darkest day.
كالفجر الذي يأتي بعد أحلك يوم.
