ضرورت اور اصول کے درمیان

Taking advantage is never a virtue,

کسی کا فائدہ اٹھانا کبھی خوبی نہیں،

Yet denying one’s own needs is not virtue either.

مگر اپنی ضرورتوں کو جھٹلانا بھی کوئی نیکی نہیں۔

Between pride and survival,

غرور اور بقا کے درمیان،

I stand—silent, yet aware.

میں کھڑا ہوں—خاموش، مگر باخبر۔

I do not wish to rise by stepping on others,

میں دوسروں کو روند کر آگے نہیں بڑھنا چاہتا،

Nor do I wish to erase myself in the name of purity.

اور نہ ہی پاکیزگی کے نام پر خود کو مٹا دینا چاہتا ہوں۔

If life demands movement,

اگر زندگی آگے بڑھنے کا تقاضا کرتی ہے،

Let it not demand the loss of conscience.

تو وہ ضمیر کی قربانی نہ مانگے۔

Perhaps from this fragile ground,

تیز کامیابی اکثر اندر خلا چھوڑ جاتی ہے۔

Slow, honest growth creates stability.

آہستہ اور ایماندار ترقی استحکام پیدا کرتی ہے۔

One day the question will not be:

ایک دن سوال یہ نہیں ہوگا—

“How did you get here?”

تم یہاں کیسے پہنچے؟

It will be:

بلکہ یہ ہوگا—

“Who are you?”
