عندما تتحول القليل من الصدق إلى شيطان

I became slightly honest,

people made me the devil.

Not for the harm I caused,

but for the lies I refused to carry.

I did not shout or accuse,

I only stood straight

in a world bent by convenience.

That was enough to disturb their peace.

Truth needs no weapon—

its presence alone is threatening.

So the honest one is called cruel,

and silence is crowned as wisdom.

أصبحتُ صادقًا قليلًا،

فجعلني الناسُ شيطانًا.

لا بسبب أذى ارتكبته،

بل لأنني رفضتُ حملَ أكاذيبهم.

لم أصرخ، ولم أُهاجم،

بل وقفتُ مستقيمًا

في عالمٍ منحنٍ بالمصالح.

وكان ذلك كافيًا لزعزعة سلامهم.

الصدق لا يحتاج سلاحًا،

فحضوره وحده مخيف.

لذلك يُوصَف الصادق بالقسوة،

وتُتوَّجُ الصمتُ حكمةً.

Honesty does not attack people;

Labeling the honest person as “evil”

is a psychological defense.

It protects collective lies

by isolating the one who refuses to participate.

Honesty does not create enemies.

It reveals them.
