an exceptional day

An exceptional day Has come today, Different from others— We love together. After salat’s wave, We go to the grave, Cry for the dear Who’s gone forever. Tears are shedding, Yet hearts find pleasing. We come back home, In nice uniform. Celebrate the day, Eat and play. --- 🔎 English Analysis “An exceptional day / Has come today” → A special day (likely Eid or a religious festival). “After salat’s wave / Go to grave” → After prayer, people remember the dead by visiting graves, showing a blend of devotion and remembrance. “Cry for dear / Who gone forever” → Expression of loss; grief for loved ones who have passed away. “Tears are shedding / We feel pleasing” → Paradox of sadness (tears) mixed with comfort (pleasing)—because remembrance gives spiritual peace. “Come back home / In nice uniform” → Symbol of new clothes, tradition, and festivity. “Celebrate the day / Eat and play” → Despite grief, life continues with joy, food, and celebration. 👉 The poem captures the duality of life—sorrow ...

a little flower

A little flower, Not much greater. It has no scent, So none bent To pick it up For love’s cup. It comes too soon And fades by noon. It may be blamed For lacking fame. Yet hidden power Can turn destroyer— To bring down them Who play the game, Who spread pain Again and again. --- 🔎 English Analysis “A little flower / Not much greater” → The poem begins with humility: the flower is small, unnoticed, unglamorous. “It has no scent / So none bent” → People ignore it because it lacks external attraction. Symbolic of how society ignores the humble or weak. “It comes too soon / And fades by noon” → Life is short; beauty and existence are temporary. “It may be blamed / For lacking fame” → The flower represents those who are undervalued and forgotten. “Yet hidden power / Can turn destroyer” → Suggests that underestimated beings may have unseen strength. “To bring down them / Who play the game / To create pain / Again and again” → The flower, though small, can symbolize justice or nature’s reveng...

an educated fool

An educated fool Becomes very harmful To his heart, Though he’s smart. He doesn’t believe In a reeve, Dislikes to look At the true book. Cannot hear The voice of dear. He’s not kind, So becomes blind. In spite of eyes, Abstains from exercise. --- 🔎 English Analysis This poem portrays the paradox of an educated fool: someone with learning but lacking wisdom. “Educated fool” → Refers to a person who has knowledge but misuses it or fails to apply it morally. “Becomes harmful to his heart” → His arrogance and lack of humility destroy his own inner peace. “Doesn’t believe in a reeve” → He disregards guidance, authority, or truth-bearers (spiritual or moral leaders). “Dislikes the true book” → Rejects scripture, sacred texts, or true wisdom. “Cannot hear voice of dear” → Unable to listen to loved ones or well-wishers. “Not kind → blind” → Without compassion, even intelligence cannot give clarity. “In spite of eyes, abstains from exercise” → Though capable of seeing truth, he refuses to prac...

When all unnatural, Cheating becomes general. All become cruel, So the heart’s bell Not working well. To accept the real, Honesty becomes valueless. a voice to

Ignorance of mood, You change the good. Instead of bad, You become mad. Without wearing mud, Nor under cloud, Happiness fades out, By the endless doubt. Lack of knowledge, Makes you hate the village. Revolt against the leader, Turns you destroyer. You break a stone, When left alone. Yet you grow greater, In the next future. --- 2. English Analysis Theme: The poem reflects how ignorance disturbs the mind, turning goodness into anger. Without knowledge, happiness disappears, rebellion becomes destructive, and isolation leads to frustration. But through struggle, there is a possibility of growth and greatness in the future. Poetic flow: Repetition (“become mad / destroyer / alone”) emphasizes the destructive results of ignorance. Contrast: “good → bad,” “leader → destroyer,” “alone → greater” shows transformation. Philosophically, ignorance is not permanent—it can turn into wisdom through self-struggle. Philosophy: This aligns with both Eastern and Western thought: In Vedanta/Buddhism, ig...
